School Board Special Meeting

This Special Meeting will be held in the District Conference Room at the MS. The purpose of this special meeting is for the NMSD Board conduct an Appeal Hearing. There are no public comments at special meetings.  

Executive sessions may be held during regular, special or emergency meetings for any reason permitted by law. Members of the media may attend executive sessions, except in these specific instances: deliberations with persons conducting labor negotiations; expulsion hearings or those pertaining to confidential student medical records; and litigation involving the news media. (Policy BDC).  See agenda below.  

The Public Meetings Law authorizes governing bodies to meet in executive session in certain limited circumstances.  Executive session is defined as “any meeting or part of a meeting of a governing body which is closed to certain persons for deliberation on certain matters.” ORS 192.610(2). Posting requirements - 24 hours in advance.
