North Marion 26-27 and 27-28 Academic Calendars

On Monday, May 11th, the North Marion School District Board of Directors officially adopted the academic calendar for the 2026–2027 and 2027-2028 school year. We appreciate the patience and flexibility of our staff and families as we worked through the calendar development process and awaited the completion of negotiations to finalize important details.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to the district calendar team for their collaboration, thoughtful feedback, and hard work throughout this process. Developing a school calendar requires balancing many priorities, including instructional time, student and staff needs, family input, and operational considerations. We are grateful for the partnership and shared commitment to creating a calendar that best supports students, staff, and the North Marion community.
