North Marion School District Title l-A Compact

We have a vision for the kind of schools we want to create:
o Welcoming, Respectful and Safe
o Meeting Global Standards
o Teaching and learning are challenging, dynamic and engaging
o Students are empowered to lead successful lives stewards of their world
There is a role for everyone to play in public schools. We are better together.
 
As Students We agree to: 
● Attend school regularly. 
● Work hard as a learner. 
● Be safe, respectful and responsible. 
● Ask for help when I need it. 
● Cooperate and collaborate with others. 
● Self-direct and challenge myself. 
 
As Parents/Care giving adults We agree to: 
● Have high expectations for my child as an individual. 
● Help my child attend school and be on time. 
● Help my child be ready to learn. 
● Find a quiet place for my child’s reading. 
● Help my child to learn to resolve conflicts in positive ways. 
● Respect school staff and the cultural differences of others. 
● Contact my child’s teacher when I have a question or concern. 
 
As staff members We agree to:  
● Demonstrate respect and care for our school community.
● Have high expectations for all.
● Communicate and work with families to support students’ learning.
● Provide a safe environment for learning. 
● Embrace and respect cultural diversity. 
● Be knowledgeable about instructional best practices. 
● Challenge each child to meet his/her potential. 
● Prepare students to be ready for productive futures.

Como estudiantes, estamos de acuerdo en: 
● Asistir a escuela regularmente.
● Trabajar duro como un aprendiz. 
● Ser seguro, respetuoso y responsable. 
● Pedir ayuda cuando la necesito. 
● Cooperar y colaborar con otros 
● Autodirigir y desafiarme a mí mismo. 
 
Como Padres/Adultos Cuidadores, estamos de acuerdo en: 
● Tener expectativas altas para mi niño como un individuo.
● Ayudar a mi niño asistir a escuela y ser a tiempo. 
● Ayudar a mi niño ser listo leer 
● Buscar un lugar callado para la lectura de mi niño. 
● Ayudar a mi niño aprender resolver conflictos en maneras positivas. 
● Respetar a personal de escuela y las diferencias culturales de otros. 
● Contactar el maestro de mi niño cuando tengo una pregunta o una inquietud. 
 
Como miembros del personal, estamos de acuerdo en:  
● Demostrar respeto y cuidar para nuestra comunidad escolar.
