Menus

Want your kids to eat good food? Send them to a North Marion cafeteria!
There they’ll find fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains, low-fat turkey products, high fiber breads and buns, reduced-fat mayonnaise and salad dressing and lots of oven-baked products that were previously deep fried! Learn more:

  • Variety Bars are available daily at each North Marion school's cafeteria: featuring a rotating variety of fresh, canned, and dried fruits and vegetables.
  • Tossed salads are fortified with fresh spinach leaves and are a daily staple at each variety bar.
  • Salad dressings, prepared mainly on campus, are made with low-fat mayonnaise and skim milk.
  • Sandwiches, including hamburgers, are served on whole-grain, high-fiber bread purchased from a company right here in Oregon that is dedicated to developing healthy food choices for Oregon’s school children.
  • Yes, we still serve pizza.  Our new pizza is prepared fresh from scratch daily on a delicious whole wheat crust with low fat, partially skim milk cheese and turkey pepperoni.
  • All milk served is either 1% or nonfat.

Allergies & Special Diets

Federal regulations require Child Nutrition Programs Sponsors to offer to all participants' breakfasts, lunches, after school snacks and milk that meet the meal requirements identified in the individual program regulations.

Federal regulations further require schools to make substitutions to the standard meal requirements for students who are considered disabled and whose disability restricts their diet.

A school district may, at its discretion, make substitutions for individual participants who are not "disabled persons" but are unable to consume a food item because of medical or other special dietary needs.
