Get a $20 Gift Card This Month While Prepping for Your Post-High School Life!

A valedictorian speaks at the podium during commencement in 2022

Forms can be detailed and dull. But the school, with support from College Goal Oregon, is offering help and a gift card if you fill out some important forms to get assistance paying for college!

Any senior who completes their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Oregon Student Aid Application (ORSAA), an alternative for undocumented students, in the month of October will receive a $20 gift card to Amazon, Dutch Bros, or Starbucks. It’s free to fill our both FAFSA and ORSAA. Completing the FAFSA or ORSAA is the best way to start preparing to apply to college, trade schools, or apprenticeships.

Drop-in hours at the High School library will be available for FAFSA and ORSAA application assistance to all seniors and their families, with help available in both Spanish and English. The drop in hours are: from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 20.

Here are a few more key details:

  • Families are encouraged to create their FSA IDs prior to coming to the event.
  • To complete the FAFSA or ORSAA students and parents or guardians will need their social security number for FAFSA, but not ORSAA, and their 2021 tax records and W-2 forms.
