Employee Wellness Resources

Welcome, North Marion School District employees!

This is our wellness page with lots of resources for you to improve your wellness.  Please take advantage of these resources, as needed now and in the future.

Having a wellness program to access professional help and resources can make a big difference.  Oregon Educators Benefit Board (OEBB) has partnered with MODA and Kaiser Permanente to offer a number of free Wellness programs and resources available to members.

Wellness needs and goals look different for each person, so there is no one-fits-all wellness program.  OEBB has evaluated tools and resources. OEBB's goal is to improve the overall health and wellness of members by providing resources, benefits, and programs that promote healthy behaviors and assist with managing chronic conditions.

Oregon Dept. of Education has a dedicated monthly news article for Employee Wellness.

Culture of Care is passionate in helping educators and our systems move from just surviving the current climate to thriving in our work by implementing Wellness Cultures.  While Culture of Care is focused on addressing the needed changes in education to eliminate systemic overwhelm, we also acknowledge that now more than ever educators need to learn how to buffer and overcome burnout if we are to continue this noble and essential work.”

If you would like, you can opt-in on monthly wellness emails from Culture of Care for quick and easy strategies &/or resources for staff & students alike.

OEBB Wellness Page: MODA Health Wellness Programs and Kaiser Health Wellness Programs both cover chronic disease management, depression and stress management, diabetes prevention and management, diet and exercise, health assessment, sleep management, tobacco cessation, and weight management.
