Dancing the Night Away

Last Saturday, April 23, during the first in-person prom since 2019, North Marion High School students crowned their Queen and King, seniors Annabel Gamlem and Gage Hurst. They took a turn on the dance floor to commemorate the occasion. Gamlem could hardly comprehend the tiara upon her head.

“It was definitely shocking, surprising, in a good way,” said Gamlem, also the President of the National Art Honor Society at North Marion. “I didn’t expect it. It was an eventful day. It was my birthday. I just turned 18. Then, that happened, which was very nice.”

Students celebrated with dancing, photos in the photo booth, and just having the opportunity to see one another again during the event held at the Aurora Colony Vineyards.
