Dear North Marion Community,

We are thrilled to announce that the search for our next Superintendent is entering its final stages. As we near the end of this important process, the North Marion School Board invites you to a Community Forum on Thursday, June 6th at 4:00 - 5:30 p.m. in the Middle School Commons where you'll have the opportunity to meet the Finalists.  Each finalist will be answering questions and providing their aspirations for North Marion School District.  

The Finalists' forum begins at 4:00 pm where the candidates will provide a 10-minute presentation followed by a 20-minute slot for questions and answers.  At the forum, there will be a Finalists' visitation feedback form, or you can scan a QR code or link to access the four (4) question survey.  You will have the opportunity to select and provide feedback to the board on who you feel should be the next Superintendent for North Marion.  The survey will not open until noon on Thursday and will close shortly after the forum concludes. 

On Friday, May 31st, the NMSD District announced to staff and community families, the two (2) finalists.

Mark your calendars and come prepared to engage with each finalist, ask questions, and provide feedback to the school board on each candidate. Your participation is vital in helping us make an informed decision that will shape the future of our educational community.

This forum is an important step in our selection process, as we value your input and want to ensure that our next Superintendent is someone who reflects the needs and aspirations of our community.  We thank you for taking the time to participate in the Community Survey.  We had nearly 200 people participate.  The board reviewed the Community Survey Results shared at the May 13th board meeting as part of their screening process.
